Gymnastics with Coach Kahu and Kelly Sports

This term we are learning about Gymnastics.  Each week we have a 45 minute session with Coach Kahu from Kelly Sports.  We are learning  about balance, stability, rotation with forward and backward rolls, landings and simple routines.

Monrad visits Cloverlea

Monrad School came to visit us to talk to our year 6 children about their intermediate years.  We recognised some ex Cloverlea pupils which was nice. They gave away some cool hats if we could answer the questions about Monrad. Their Kapa Haka group "raised the roof" with their performance and there was also a wonderful group who sang.

Boys High Roadshow

Wow!! What a fabulous performance from the large group of Boys High students.  The music they played sounded amazing and the singing was impressive.

PB4L Term 3

We have started our term by talking about the expectations we have in our class and around the school.  It is good for us to remember what a Legend does!

These are just two examples of our expectations.

Mrs Burnett's Farewell

On Friday we held a special Team Time to say our farewells to Mrs Burnett.  We sang to her and then made a line for her to walk out through.  We will miss her so very much.

Kelly's fitness sessions !!

Every Friday Room 3 and 4 go to a fun fitness session with Kelly.  We do dance to music that keeps us fit and we finish each session with a dance off between the boys and girls.
On the last Friday we invited Room 1 and 2 to come and watch and then they got to join in with the dance off.  It was so much fun!

Ki-o-Rahi Awards

Coach Zac and Coach Kahu presented awards to children that they thought were Legends in the
 sports time for Ki-o-Rahi.
