A Volcanologist Visits!!!!
The Ruahine team were lucky enough to have a Volcanologist come and give a presentation to us. He taught us so very much about Volcanos.

Kindy Visit
On Thursday Room 3 went to visit our kindy visits.
These are some of the comments from Room 3:
Meihana said that it is really good learning to play with little kids because I will have little kids and nieces and nephews one day. I need to know how to look after them. I enjoyed playing with my buddy and reading him stories. I also taught him how to do a dance with me.
Gorgina said that being at the kindy is fun but sometimes you need to be resilient and patient because sometimes your buddy may not want to do what you want to do. I enjoyed playing with her and playing games and painting. She is a brilliant buddy.
Alexander was noticed by a Kindy teacher for his Legend values.
He said I learnt about my buddy and that she likes doing things with big kids. I enjoyed playing with my buddy with the frog puppet. What I need to do next time is to walk around and let her tell me what she wants to do.

Dragon Fruit. Have you tried one?
One reading group read a story about Dragon Fruit in Vietnam.
They got to look at and try a real Dragon fruit!!
